The background is really awesome and gives off a dark/eerie-ish and evil feel to it. And the character there looks ominous...Im guessing he's a bad guy from this lolol XD

Your backgrounds are so amazing... i hope you're not bored to hear that from me. I think, this time the bg is even more amazing than the character ^^; who's just there, but isn't the main eyecatcher here. At least for me.

Or maybe i have just a crush on lava ponds xD

The mood of this one is so evil and epic. The character is awesomely detailed too. The depth of the castle and rocks seems a little off but the feeling I get from the image more than makes up for it. Awesome work!

You're welcome :) Well, whenever you paint mountains or rocks. Keep in mind that the closer it is to the "camera" the darker it'll be. The further away will be less visible. That even applies boulders and such. This video here does a better job in showing what I mean ^^; [link]
I think it could help a little with landscapes o.o
