Raffle winner number 3 Zephyr for This little guy was fun to draw and I experimented a little with the pose so it may not be perfect. Feel free to critique if you wish. But I hope you enjoy the little drawing
First thought that came to my mind...Wing span is amazing! Dragons wings are supposed to be huge you did a great job at portraying that. Second thought, I don't like the underbelly scales. The color is just not right, its the color that catches your eye and the underbelly should not be that eye catching; thats if your trying to point out important details. Its not a horrid color I just don't feel like it mixes but thats my opinion. Your atonomy is great. Everything looks proportional. The only other thing I want to point out there is no shadowing. I know you don't have a light source, but shading gives the object depth and life. But I have to say your dragos is pretty sick. I like dragons with ears that you can see.
i love the anatomy, i may seem as one not to speak but finally someone realizes that the wings must be this large to actually physically lift the dragon, i love the color scheme and the pose is very creative. I love his/her or "its" expression sports cold power and the beautiful feet; sadly i cannot get them right myself. though if i had a scanner i could show you some of my drawings. i like the touch of the stone it is sitting on edging toward the more bird-like variety. Overall a beautiful piece. in other words ITS FUCKING AWESOME XDXDXD.
Gee, I'm really glad I was a raffle winner, this looks so great! I love the experimenting you did with Zephyr's colors. In fact, I'm thinking about keeping the way you colored his frills. The horn and claw color creates some interesting contrast as well.
The pose is cool. He looks like he's inspecting something in his forepaw, which totally fits his curious nature.
I don't see anything to critique! You did great with my character, especially considering how much (or little) you had to work with. Besides a few blemishes from the quickness of the coloring, I don't see anything wrong with the overall picture, either. I'm very happy with this!
