First of all I wanna say that I really just smiled Aubrey. Your attention to detail is marvelous and you're just amazing each time I see your art. The first thing that drew my eye was the sun's light rays permeating through the trees, and what a wonderful start off to the picture. I love how the reflective surface of the grass gives that 'glimmer' to the sun's rays and gives life and energy to the picture. The affection and magnificence of the two dragons is heartwarming and I like the detail you put into them. I would like to give you a few pointers if that's okay. I know that you're already a fantastic artist so don't worry, it's nothing major, your spectacular artwork speaks for itself.
Firstly, to the right of the drawing, I felt that the long trees there could be a bit more detailed. I felt that they were a little too dark actually, and that lighting them up just a notch or two would bring the picture into equilibrium, because you have this defined and pretty light arch coming in and illuminating the picture but, then you have these dark spots which, is okay but, not in excess. The dragons were perfect in my view as were their following shadows and I liked the coloring on the tree leaves.
The other thing that kind of got me is if you look at the right mid-center of the picture, in between the largest tree and the tree to the left of it, there's a glint of clear and luminescent reflections there that sort of steal the eye catcher away from the middle. I wager that that was to show that the sun is penetrating over there to, but maybe you could make it more subtle so that it's not as obvious and, therefore, doesn't draw the eye to far away from the middle and the dragons, which, in my view as the onlooker, is the point and central aspect of the painting/drawing. All in all, another fantastic work, one that made me smile. You truly have a gift Aubrey, one that me and fellow onlookers can only enjoy and appreciate ^_^. Good Luck with future projects.
